Holiday Crafts

I hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving Day. I am spending my free time on my 4 day holiday weekend getting ready for a couple craft shows I am doing in December. Here is a tealight candle holder I made. Just one of many, many things I have created.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Well, here we are celebrating another Thanksgiving. Today I am cooking a traditional dinner for my husband, daughter, mother-in-law and brother-in-law. We already celebrated Thanksgiving this past Saturday with my sister-in-law and her husband. Then this Saturday we will celebrate Thanksgiving with my family at my parents house. I am very thankful for my family and friends and feel blessed to have them in my life!

I hope you and yours have a Wonderful Thanksgiving!

Here is a Thanksgiving Layout that I did for a class at a Crop that I was a vendor at. The cute Turkey is made out of the Scallop Circle Punch.

Cute Holiday Card

Well, Thursday evening I attended a Stampin' Up! Downline meeting at my Upline's Upline, Gail Murray's. We talk about Stampin' Up! and share ideas. Several demonstrators brought projects for us to do and here is a really cute Holiday Card that one of my friends, Maureen Gold http://happystampingmom.blogspot.com/, brought for us to do. I just love the colors. Kiwi Kiss, Kraft and Whisper White. Also the stamp set used is Punch Pals.

Swap Card

Well the previous post shows the swap card I did for my Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Swap I was in this month. Too bad the theme I did was for December's Swap. At lease December's is done and in Jacki's hands. So the theme was 3 x 3 Christmas Card for November. Here is my 3x3 card which I did Sunday and mailed out to her on Monday. The cute Santa on the front was taught to me by my good friend Jean Delaney. It uses the scallop circle punch, 1 1/4 square punch and word window punch to make it. I think it's really adorable.

Here is the Santa spiced up a little with a Jewel for the nose and pomp pomp for the hat. My good friend and Stampin' Up! upline, Jacki Montgomery, had suggested to Jean to use a pomp pomp on the hat. I made a bunch of these up to put on the front of Gift Card Holders.

Happy Wednesday

Hi all,

Well I haven't been real creative lately, I thought maybe I was having a hard time recovering from my scrapping weekend but I think I may be coming down with something. I'm starting to get congested and starting with a little sore throat.

I did spend the evening Monday evening working on cards that I did at my Stamp-A-Stack. I did five each of the five designs so that was 25 cards.

Yesterday, Tuesday - Election Day, I went with my daughter to vote after work. It was my daughters 1st time voting as she turned 18 this year. It was a great experience to be able to vote with her. We are so proud of her. I can't believe how fast time has gone. You blink and they are adults. So, I was proud and sad at the same time.

Have a great day!

MIA

WOW, I can't believe how long it's been since I posted. Since my last post the time has flown by very quickly. Work was busy, I had several family issues to deal with and then there was getting ready for my Scrapbooking weekend. I went to the Pocono's to the Fall Simply Cropping Getaway. What a great time. I went up with my mom and sister and then we were joined by my best friends and fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrators, Jacki, Jean and Carolyn. Jacki was scrapbooking and Jean and Carolyn were stamping and working on project for craft shows and up coming classes.

Jacki, Jean and Carolyn came up on Friday and left Sunday afternoon.

My sister, mom and myself went up the night before, Thursday, and then stayed over on Sunday night, slept in Monday morning and went to the outlets and did a little shopping. It was a wonderful weekend and I really enjoyed the time with my family and friends. We did break a little to watch some of the World Series games. It was exciting. Way to go Phillie's on winning the World Series!

So here I am home and getting ready for my Stamp-A-Stack today. This week I was very busy at work then came home and crashed from still being tired from the Scrapbooking weekend. Last night I spent cleaning and handing out candy to the Trick-or-Treaters.

I will be busy in the next month holding my stamp clubs, making items for several craft shows I'm in and the holiday's. HAPPY NOVEMBER! I will keep you updated on what is upcoming and I will post pictures of items I create.
