February 2010 Stamp Club Cards

With all this snow the past week I have been having fun creating our cards for stamp club. The following 3 cards are for my February 2010 Stamp Club next week. Well, that is barring any further snow storms.

I found the Easter Easel Card and the inspiration for the Good Luck card on Splitcoaststampers (I could not find the card again to give credit to the person who posted it but would like to thank whoever it was for sharing!) Winter of 2009-2010

Well, here I sit at home (yes, a snow day from work!) waiting on the next round of snow to hit. We got about 3" overnight before it changed to rain. Now it's just a slushy mess outside. We had about 24" this past weekend and are due to get another 8" to 12" today. What a winter this has been. We had a major snow storm the weekend before Christmas and a few smaller one's since. Then last weekend's major snow storm. Now another just a few days later and we are only in the beginning of February.

even tell Samanth's car (on the left) and Jim's

The house (taken from the street before our
driveways were plowed). Jim had already
cleaned off the cars and dug out around them.



Hard to imagine we are getting more snow already today.

Easel Card

Okay, after stamping with my fellow Demonstators last Saturday, Jan. 23rd, I did some stamping of my own on Sunday, January 24th. Here is an Easel Card that I found a tutorial for by Beate Johns. Thanks for sharing this neat idea.

Here is what I came up with. What do you think?

The only thing I forgot to do was put a light color, like maybe white underneath the bottom layer with Happy Birthday on it and the punched edge so that you could write on that. Well, practice makes perfect.
